Welcome to Havenwood!
I have finally put together a map to help orient visitors to our nearly one-acre garden around our home in northwestern Pennsylvania, zone 5/6. I am preparing a schedule of open garden days and classes for the 2025 season, so it was time to sit down and put pen to paper for a map of all of these diverse garden areas.
I have written about the making of over a dozen garden rooms here on JWG, and I have linked those articles below. I decided to also include on the map some of the botanical features in our garden that are not often seen in the US.
(In fact, I do not yet know of another fruit tunnel in the US. If you do, I would love to hear about it!)

I had a surprise with a mention on Gardenista’s recent post about their Favorite Garden Newsletters! It is great to have a list of gardening newsletters that provide so much inspiration right here: Substack Garden Writers’ Directory.
Oh my goodness! What a dream. And YES, now that we share the same state, I cannot wait to come visit the gardens (and you!).
We'd love to come for an onsite garden tour!
