I love all your bulb blooms, Julie. Those flowers symbolize spring like nothing else can. That pale yellow aconite stole my heart; however, I have no chance of growing that in my climate so I'll just celebrate it in your garden.

Thanks Kris! The color of this Eranthis variety is really soft and lovely. Glad that it is doing so well as I have not had much luck with Eranthis in the past.

Oh my, I love your collection of Galanthus, Julie--I had no idea there were so many varieties--the ones with the yellow bases are really special! Where can one acquire some of these exotic varieties? I've only seen two or three types listed in my fall bulb catalogs. Love the tri-color crocus too, will be looking for that one this coming fall.

Glad you enjoyed them Elena! More coming this month, so I will have to post some more in a couple of weeks. Jon Lonsdale of Edgewood Gardens is one source in the US for Galanthus, and he comes each year to the Downingtown, PA Galanthus Gala where there are several other sellers as well. Definitely a fun place to find all sorts of beautiful plants :)

Oh, Julie. Your snowdrops are so lovely and give my heart a little ache. A little piece of sehnsucht, that homesick feeling always kicks in during the change of season.

Spring has so much packed into it all at once, nostalgia and renewal. So glad they can bring you some joy :)
