Gardens as Sacred Spaces: Part 2
A video class about where people and plants meet by Julie Witmer
Welcome to my class, Gardens as Sacred Spaces!
I created this popular class last year to share with the gardeners at a local church, and it was such a hit that I have had many people asking for a way to access it.
In part one, we looked at the connection that can happen inside of a garden between people and plants, and I will share a few inspirational women gardeners who have encouraged others to live closely to plants.
In part two, we will talk about a dozen design ideas for small and large gardens, as well as a few for houseplants indoors. These design ideas will help you to create a more immersive garden experience in any garden, old or new. We will talk about paths, lawns, hedges and patios, as well as a host of criteria for planning and siting your garden features.
I will be releasing part 3 in May, which gives you many tips on getting started with implementing these design ideas.
What is included
Below for all paid subscribers is a 27 minute video and a PDF to follow along with this three part class.
