For their complete plant list for this garden, see Chanticleer's Plant Lists: Asian Woods.Chanticleer’s Asian Woods is full of ruffled Primula, miniature Hosta, yellow Fairybells, and other woodland plants in the springtime.

Asian Woods

Chanticleer in the spring is a flood of every nice thing, but I think that the Asian Woods and the surrounding areas are my favorite. Primula sieboldii is the primrose for dry shade gardens. It is native to east Asia. This form has ruffled flowers in addition to the typical ruffled leaves.
